The night on the Alp San Romerio, a place of unique power, promises an encounter with nature at its purest. The solid wood double bed is located above the alp and can be pushed outside from the little mountain hut depending on the weather and your mood. Alp San Romerio, with its small stone church, towers like an eagle’s nest 840m above Lago di Poschiavo. From here you have a breath-taking view of the whole of Valposchiavo as far as Tirano. In this paradise, Gino Bongulielmi, whose family has been cultivating the alp since 1829, built a platform with a hut for his guests a short distance away from the houses in a natural setting. Surrounded by alpine flowers, willow, spruce, pine and larch, guests can expect a unique night in the great outdoors. Regional specialities will provide plenty of sustenance.
